Wheel Alignment
Regular wheel alignment checks are essential for extending tyre lifespan and ensuring optimal vehicle performance. As a core preventative maintenance step, we recommend alignment checks every 10,000 km or annually for low-mileage drivers, and especially after encountering potholes, curbs, or similar impacts.
Why Proper Alignment Matters
Misalignment can cause issues like steering wheel pull, uneven tyre wear, and accelerated mechanical wear. To keep your vehicle in top shape, our certified technicians perform a comprehensive alignment service, which includes:
- Adjust the three primary wheel alignment angles to manufacturer specification. These include:
- Camber: The inward or outward tilt of the wheels.
- Toe:the angle at which the wheels point towards or away from each other.
- Caster: A complex angle that affects how your steering wheel returns to position after a turn.
- Inspection of steering and suspension systems to ensure stability
- Tyre condition and air pressure check to promote even wear.
- Resetting of the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) where applicable.
- Road testing to confirm a smooth, aligned drive.
- Alignment report printout detailing "before" and "after" readings.
Note: Some vehicles may require additional labor or parts for complex adjustments.
